Dear Parishioners,
We are entering the month of May. We love this month dedicated to Mary our Blessed Mother and the month we honor our own mothers. This is also the month our children receive the sacrament of First Holy Communion and our youth receive the sacrament of Confirmation.
Our First Communion is May 7. We are very excited for the children who will receive Jesus for the first time.
That same weekend we will crown our Blessed Mother in honor of Mother’s Day and we will consecrate all our mothers to Mary the Mother of God. We will pray for all our mothers living and deceased thanking God for them.
At the end of the month on May 24th, we will have Confirmation with Bishop Dennis Sullivan. We will have nearly 50 Confirmandi making the sacrament at 5:00pm at Saint Michael Church. It is also my 19th Anniversary to the priesthood. It will be such a blessing to have our bishop that day.
Let us pray and receive the many graces this month is bringing us.

        Many blessings,
  Father Ariel

My dear Parishioners,

It is hard to believe that we already celebrated Easter. This is a very special time of joy and celebration of God’s triumph over death. I want to thank the choir, the decorators, everyone involved in liturgy and all who worked so hard and dedicated so much time and love to make this holy week very beautiful and special for our parish family.

This Sunday is Divine Mercy Sunday. As part of our parish celebration for Divine Mercy, we will offer a special healing Mass for all our parishioners who are sick and who are in need of God’s mercy. Our Holy Father reminds us to practice mercy and to focus on obtaining God’s mercy for ourselves and for the whole world.

Our Divine Mercy program will be at St. Michael Church in Minotola beginning at 2:00pm with the rosary, adoration, and confessions. We will sing the Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3:00pm followed by the solemn Mass at 3:30pm. Don’t miss this great opportunity to celebrate the feast of God’s mercy with our parish family.

Many blessings,

Father Ariel
